CONDITION: Very Good (Vol 1) to VG+ (2 - 6); no owner names or other marks, gilt bright on titles and spine, very clean, pages unwrinkled, with plates lightly rubbed or not at all rubbed, tight bindings, sharp corners, what appear to be raindrop stains on some edges, not affecting pages at all; an unusually nice Volume One, and Volume Four opens more freely than the earlier ones. Perhaps this set belonged to an older child. Volume One has very clean, flat pages with 3 half inch margin tears in all, 3/8" chip to top corner of p. 49, bump to edge has caused creased shallow 3/8" tear to side margin of several pages,; Volume Two has tiny worn spot on spine corner, slight waviness on a few pages in part of top margin, otherwise both One and Two are very nice; Volume Three through Six have no furthur flaws.
