CONDITION: Good Minus ( Vol. 1) and Very Good to Very Good Plus (2-6); small owner name and stamp, light rubbing and bumps to extremities, and rubbing on plates of "core" set (Vols 1,2,4,6), comparable wear on all volumes, including edge colour; an assembled set that is unusually well matched, impossible to tell, in fact. Volume One has generally very clean, flat pages with the dramatic exception of pp129/130 see jpg, about 5 closable short margin tears that only need repair if a young child will use this set; it is somewhat loose, the front hinge half started with webbing visible on title page and two other openings, creased back page along gutter; Volumes One and Two have damaged plates: Vol One's plate has bottom corners missing, see jgpg and Vol Two's plate has chips and creases in top corners and spot on bottom edge; Volumes Three through Six are clean and tight with bright gilt and no significant flaws.
