Chicago: Reilly & Lee, 1932, 1st printing nap; pale green boards with black title box and orange letters, black cloth spine, orange endpapers with a map of Follie's route back home, across a large lakeside city (Chicago?); orange pages with many black illustrations in text, in a jacket with a huge orange cat on front and back; 8x8.25"; 120 pp.
Juvenile hardback.
CONDITION: Very Good Minus with clipped jacket remnant; nice 1938 bookplate and gift inscription "for Sue to read at the lake." The bottom edge of board has a moisture stain of about an 1/8", so I guess she did; rear board has 1" faded area (below jacket chip), tight binding with interior pages crisp and clean; in very worn jacket remnant in archival protector, orange cat panels and flaps of front and back jacket intact, no spine.
