Three little mice have a hard time until at last they paint in their own whiskers. The entire book is lettered in Japanese brush strokes and illustrated with delightful mouse paintings. The artist drew her characters from a 17th c painting of three whiskerless mice by Korin, an artist in lacquer and ink. Note: This book has been sold.
