A rare example of the Dean's books printed for Hachette at the turn of the century. The naughty kitten Poucet causes all sorts of trouble: he bites his mother's tail, he tangles his Mistress's yarn, he chases the sparrows; he chases the rabbit. Scarce. The English version: DWARF SERIES NO. 22 THE TALE OF A NAUGHTY PUSSIE, PICTURES BY A HANSLIP,(sic) LONDON DEAN'S RAG BOOK CO. NOTE: THIS BOOK HAS BEEN SOLD.

Un Incorrigible Minet

I have this book but it is written in English. I have not been able to find one on the internet that has been in English. I'm trying to find out the age of the book. I also have one called Bunnieland. From what I have seen they seem to be part of a series of children's books. Any information on these books would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely. Kim

We don't sell this book but the review page has a link to Amazon (although I am technically an Amazon Associate, I think I made a total of $1.67 last year!) It's a bargain for $42 and has much more information that I'll be able to copy here, but, yes
This was a part of a series, the Dwarf Series, published in 1904, with various artists. The Cope's list 4 of these.
I don't see a reference to Bunnieland in Copes. If this was a Dean Rag Book published before 1939, you have a rare book. I see a reference to a Dean's Rag Bunnieland on WorldCat... (see the looking for a book page) There is apparently one in the National Library of Scotland. You could probably write to them to see if this is the same book as yours.
