What Rosa Did.
"A series of fascinating stories of the Adventures of a very curious little girl. Profusely illustrated with spirited illustrations." from a contemporary review. Appears to be gentle version of Les Malheurs de Sophie from 20 years previous.(French engraver, and on the last page, Rosa is studying the Revue des Deux Mondes upside down.) Simple and humorous, this must have been a great favourite. Hard to find.

Hi, answered your email from Abebooks, but I see you have already found this. No it doesn't have your picture, which appears to be by a different, and maybe earlier, artist. Thanks for sending it though. It's an interesting book. Suzanne
