CONDITION: Near Fine in Good clipped jacket; no owner names, headbands bumped but otherwise very nice, in jacket with edgewear and rubs, wear to spine ends, half inch chip, 1.5x0.75" chip affecting title, 3 other tears to half inch.

This book seems to be

This book seems to be something of an insider's classic, only one other on abe in a jacket, as I write. I bought it because I liked the snow scenes, but I ended up liking very much more than its famous counterpart. A lovely storyl. Did anyone grow up with this book?
