Unique in that every toy is completely present and in perfect condition... even the life saver retains its cellophane wrap and has not stuck to the opposite page as is usually the case. The magic pencil and the clown clicker nose are present! Ellie Elephant's 60 year old balloon "trunk" has hardened, not sticky, and thus there is no damage to the facing text. A beautiful example of the novelty books of the 40's and 50's designed to be used as toys.

CONDITION: Near Fine book in Very Good Plus box; no marks or writing, Presentation cartouche blank, two discrete collector stamps on both box and book cover, otherwise book is as new, all pop-ups and toys present and fine, and metal spiral is holding pages neatly and covering paper spine is perfect; in bright, unusually clean box - lid with gently rubbed corner tips, one side rub, and one slightly pushed corner, box bottom has closed side split.
