A History of Its Origin and Development with a Reprint of the Unique Copy of the Earliest Known Edition and Many Fac-simile Illustrations and Reproductions. Dedicated to Mr. Cornelius Vanderbilt, whose collection of New England Primers was consulted for this book. Beautifully produced. Laid in by an owner: subsequent newspaper clippings mentioning primers, a prospectus for Heartman's Bibliography of 1922, and two pages of what appear to be auction catalogue illustrations.
CONDITION: Very Good; grey boards show very light soil, grained leather spine is quite rubbed at head and foot and along creases, two lt scratches, interior flat and clean except for ep browning from small articles. Stiff, clear, archival mylar jacket. Item #11644
