A beautiful set with peaceful pictures of the French countryside published just after the war.
CONDITION:; a lovely quoted verse to the recipient, Paris 1963, in elegant script, on one of three blank pages following the endpaper, essentially unread, tight in binding with white pages. Vol. I , Very Good; bottom edge scuffed to white, all corners worn to card, calf spine perfect; Vol II, Good, the same with less corner wear but with severe 1/4" scrape along most of rear joint of spine exposing raw leather, thus price.
