Each fable, in La Fontaine's original verse, is illustrated by small sequences of fine coloured drawings, full of character.
CONDITION: Good; Harriet's bookplate, from Auntie March 1942; spine cloth cracked and probably glued down, corners and edges worn, margins darkening, silk ties are all still present but fragile; openings with webbing visible, pages flat and clean. Item #19333
