Ségur's first book, one of three simple stories about Cotonnet, a little toy rabbit. Cotonnet is adopted by M. and Mme Lapinot and tries very hard to be good and to study, but one day he runs away to the pleasures and dangers of the Forest. There he meets mean Jules and his dear friend Jojo and the toys.

CONDITION: Very Good; Christmas 1935 English child's inscription on form, no other marks; a few tiny flecks on cover and some light soil, 2" crease running into plate; tight and solid, the interior clean with unwrinkled pages and nice plates; 15 francs "15 F" stamped by publisher on rear board.
