When discontent came to the White Chess pieces in the garden, they were challenged by the Red pieces to a battle and only the Queen's purity of heart saved the garden. Inspired by the Lewis chessmen carved by Scandinavian craftsmen in the 12th century and rediscovered in 1821, now residing in The British Museum and the Scottish National Museum.
