The little girls return Mr. Applegate's lost wet dog. He keeps running back to them but Mother says "we must not keep what does not belong to us, though we may want to badly." Happy ending.
CONDITION: Near Fine in Good Plus jacket; neat owner name, straight, very clean and tight with unwrinkled pages, in jacket which is very clean but has many short closed tears and one 2" wrinkled closed tear on front, spine is darkened and creased, some titles crossed out in pen on back flap, no loss of paper; unclipped 1.50.
