A republication of Piper's Mother Goose 1922, Animals, and A.B.C. illustrated by Auflage, C. M. Barre, and W. Gurney in deep colour. "Editions", perhaps meaning "printings", printed before 1939 (18th) are scarce, and this one retains an earlier 20th c feeling in its colour quality and format.
CONDITION: Good Plus without jacket; name cartouche is completely filled out for new baby in the hospital in 1937, plate nice, corners and spine edges bumped, frayed, and soiled, spine darkened, some thin creases on free front endpaper, light soil and reading wrinkles on most margins of nursery rhyme pages.
