Henry and the Monstrous DIN.
New York: Harper & Row, (1966); blue reinforced boards with wrap around picture in gold and blue of Henry in his pajamas cheering on the Monstrous DIN; blue endpapers, oblong 10.2x8.2"; 32 pp. Picture book hardback.
Henry summons a monstrous Din, who picks him up by his pajama pants and takes him off on great adventures, culminating at a drive-in. "But the Din would not put Henry down and Henry could not make it stop. The Din went galloping down the street with Henry in its jaws while it made a noise like five hundred people roller-skating on a tin roof." Definitely a keeper. Should be republished!
