Lonely Toffle wanders through Moominland until he finds a note from a Miffle in a floating bottle. She is even more frightened and alone than he is and he gains courage and happiness in his quest to save her. Quite an astounding book by artist/Moominwriter Tove Jansson, with beautiful colours filling the entire page with strange and loving characters and wild vegetation.
CONDITION: Very Good in Good Plus jacket; no names, tight, clean, straight with good hinges, spine ends a bit soft, tiny spot on front, pale foxing on eps; in jacket with extensive pale foxing visible on white area, rumpled top edge 1/8"; 1" tear affecting author name, 2" stain on back more visible from inside has not affected book; unclipped 11/6. Missing the writing paper, not surprisingly. Item #21464
