The tidy Susie Squirrel reforms the hero of his laziness and then marries him! One of the Mrs. Prettimouse series, not named. The artist painted many famous horses of her time in oils and watercolor, as well as illustrating horse and pony books. The watercolours in this book are detailed and charming.
CONDITION: Near Fine in Very Good jacket; no names or other marks, Santa sticker, very clean white illustrated boards, straight, clean, and unwrinkled throughout, in clipped jacket with 3 closed margin tears of about 3/4" and one 1.5" complex closed tear near back spine top, bright illustration very light even soil to back, with no loss of paper.
