Bécassine bumbles her way through different parts of France during the Great War, including service in a veterans' hospital, ending in a victory parade in Alsace. She is perhaps funnier in a hundred year old book than a modern one.

CONDITION: Good Minus: no names or other marks, rips in spine, corners, and edges very worn and creased, light moisture marks on top board and many on bottom, opens freely but not cracked or separated, pages with light reading wrinkles and intermittent pale stains. Bon/Moyen etat. Item #22081
