The little goat runs away from her mother to explore her world until she sees the yellow eyes of a wolf watching. Fortunately, the blue thistles save her! Music and lyrics to Chant de la vallée. The entire book in large flat lithos in emerald green, marine blue, and a light warm grey, with touches of yellow. Beautiful illustrations with a 30's deco feel.

CONDITION: Very Good; no names or other marks, tight, straight, nice spine; two small stickers from the famous Parisian toy store Au Nain Bleu; light soil to soft white boards, scuffed board edges, bad bump to front lower corner of board and about 5 sheets; pages very clean and otherwise flat.
