A fantasy by the adult author involving a little girl, Michelle, with a pharaoh, and evil fairy, and children, including herself, who fly with small gauzy wings, with many, rather straightforward, illustrations by Ségur.
CONDITION: Good; neat name on title page margin, straight, opens freely but not loose, slant, extrems rubbed and bumped, light even soil or foxing under glaze; some foxing on title and a few pages, spine head 3/8" flap, foot rubbed; otherwise very clean and unwrinkled; plates all nice, one has 1" white margin tear.
