French language tall.

The lyrics and music for the comic song about the mistakenly reported death of General John Churchill (1650-1722), Duke of Marlborough, a tune which, reportedly, "Napoleon liked to hum". This single volume is rare, only one in a Worldcat library. The binding is simpler than the typical JOB/Montorgueil folios These JOB illustrations also appeared in the plentiful "Les Héros Comiques Dagobert, Malbrough, Cadet Rouselle ." Neither book is dated, probably from the 1920's.

CONDITION: Very Good, no names or other marks, clean, straight and tight, all corners lightly rubbed and spine foot quite bumped and missing 1cm of cloth, fixed eps pulled from stitching but block still tight to spine, some small interior margin foxing spots. Item #22655
