A delicious book with chapters such as "Neddie meets the Lemon-Ball Team" and "Grandmother Marshmallow", which often break out into rhyme. The last eight pages are Queen Jelly Bean's Candy Recipes, because of course candy is good for children "but care should be taken to have the sweets pure and wholesome."
CONDITION: Very Good Plus; no names, tight, boards generally clean with a few rubs on plate margin; pages very clean and flat, some faint margin soil on Butterscotch page. Item #22662
