Startled by a falling apple, the bunny darts off to Elsewhere. After meeting many curious animals, he comes home to Bunnytown. Here is his journey in alphabetical order, ending with "Y for you. Take one last look, Z for zero - close the book!" Beautiful illustrations with generous white space from original lithographs, printed in lithography by George C. Miller, NY, on paper made especially for this edition. A 1934 Newbery Honor book (before the Caldecott awards).
CONDITION: Good Minus without jacket; neat gift inscription, pages clean and unwrinkled, opens freely but not loose, toned boards with considerable edgewear, spine paper is completely missing leaving muslin tape. Item #22824
