Engaging coloured pictures, observations of the mischievous, pretty children of prosperous families. Frontis and title pages have borders of foxgloves, harebells, daffodils and vines. Poems probably in-house rather than translations of the German.
CONDITION: Good minus ; 1870 owner inscription, boards bright, joint cloth split carefully repaired thus grade; otherwise nice, tips of corners rubbed through, light foxing and occasional page soil throughout. Item #14045
