SHIPPING CHARGES
We use a quick shipping service which is somewhat less expensive, especially internationally. Secure, professional packing. Tracking numbers emailed.
Media Mail: Single books $4.00; $1 for each additional book.
U.S. Priority Mail: Single books $9. $4 for each additional book. Contact us for multiple or heavy shipments.
Canada: Single books $16. $4 for each additional book. Contact us for multiple or heavy shipments.
International: Single books $21. $6 for each additional book.Our service ships Priority to their US center and then by Air. Contact us for multiple or heavy shipments. We will adjust the cost of small items.
TERMS OF SALE
DISCOUNTS
We do not ordinarily give discounts.
A 10% courtesy discount is offered only to circulating libraries, schools, and classroom libraries.
Trade discounts are extended to open shops, based on published street addresses and hours.
Any other dealer discounts, whether courtesy or reciprocal, have been previously arranged in person.
Discounts to institutional collections as arranged.
We invoice or accept purchase orders from schools, libraries, private collections, research institutions and established customers.
RETURNS POLICY
We accept returns within 14 days and will refund the purchase price of the book.
If the return is due to our description error we will also refund the postage, going both ways.
Please return the book in its original packing or pack protected against moisture in a sturdy, well padded box, large enough to protect the corners. Let us know that you are returning a book.
ABEBOOKS
If you found the individual book you are purchasing on Abebooks, and then looked further on our website, please return to Abe to purchase that book. Your costs and shipping speed will be the same.
We are Abe Heritage sellers, going back to Rick Pura, and have an Abe setup that it now outdated, making a nice layout and more than one image impossible, so we refer people to our site. Too much bother with an inexpensive book but otherwise we would appreciate it if you'd buy that specific book through Abe. Thanks
CONDITION GRADING
We use traditional AB grading but no longer use abbreviations.
Book issued with jackets are graded separately. thus Very Good in Good jacket or Very Good without jacket. (VG/G or VG/0)

FINE our highest grade, without apparent flaw. As New in text means apparently unread. Actually new books are rarely in As New condition. We do not use Very Fine, Mint, or Fine +++.
NEAR FINE Usually a Fine book with a neat owner name. We used to use this for books with one extremely minor flaw but the Near Fine usage on the net is so confusing we now grade those books down to Very Good Plus.
VERY GOOD PLUS Otherwise Fine books with one to three very minor flaws, such as tiny rubs on corner tips, lightly pushed spine top, 1/16" tear in dw.
VERY GOOD Books with no major flaws, and with all flaws specified.
GOOD Not very good in collectible terms but a sturdy book for reading. All material is present, flaws specified such as heavily bumped corners.
GOOD MINUS or FAIR We have a few of these. All original material is present unless noted but the book is loose, probably soiled, and in bad condition.

DISBOUND means the cover or boards have come loose from the text block, frequently the individual parts are in nice condition but the books are not worth professional repair. Some chapbooks were never sewn or stapled.
PLATES We count plates if possible. "32 single sided plates as issued"
ORIGINAL PRICE We include the jacket price or the back cover or flap price if present.
EX-LIBRARY BOOKS Ex-Libs are graded up to VG+ only and marked as few, some, usual, or heavy marks. Inquire if you want more detail. Long ago we supplied school libraries so we happen to have quite a few in nice condition.
GRADE INFLATION Grade inflation on the net continues at a good clip. We try to grade exactly as we did when we first began over 30 years ago. Please read our descriptions when comparing books. Images can hide flaws and occasionally exaggerate them.
