16 triolets telling the story of Harlequin, who loved Columbine, and how he and his friend Pierrot conspired to confuse his rival, Leandre, but were caught, judged and hanged. The wedding of Leandre and Columbine ends the book.

CONDITION: Good Plus; edges and corners very worn, spine faded, chip in paper near spine, some light margin soil but illustrations very flat and clean. Item #17221
