A beautiful collection of the songs of the Swiss "father of Modern Pedagogy", Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi (1746 - 1827) illustrated by a German artist. Music and art formed an important part of his conception of education.

CONDITION: Good Minus; no names, boards and spine very flecked and rubbed, quite soiled on back board, all edges worn to card, front hinge paper cracked but binding sturdy, pages unwrinkled but very soiled in margins, some more than others, coloured drawings bright and clean. Item #19059
