Twinkie Town Tales.

Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman, 1932/1926, 1927 (Hamilton-Brown), paper boards with wrap-around illustration of Twinkies running across diagonally from their home as stars to the earth, (the same as the H-B book No 1, but with lavender stripes in the upp. Picture Book hardback.

The first two of the Hamilton-Brown Shoe Company softcover series, itself compiled from their ads, compiled in one large book. The constantly grinning Twinkies found their town and work away in a bright colourful world, fully realized with much detail. The rhymes flow smoothly, fun to read aloud.
