Introducing this book is a familiar 17th c poem, sung by Queen Mab, here called The Fairy Song,."for all this place is fairy ground." Following are eight tales: Perrault, Riquet with the Tuft, Puss in Boots; Mme. D'Aulnoy, Bablet, Green Dragon, Fortunata, The Blue Bird, Princess Rosetta; and last Mayblossom by Count Anthony Hamilton. With lovely Dulac plates on matte paper with blindstamped borders.

CONDITION: Very Good Plus with Very Good jacket; no names or other marks, straight, sharp corners, text and plates very clean and flat, light rubs to extrems, small scrape on bottom board edge; in bright jacket edgeworn all around, 3/4" closed tear at spine foot; blue jacket plate with neat edges but illegible gilt titles; darkened spine with foxed faded label.
