The good little bee goes about her world, caring for her child, teaching school, and playing her violin in praise of God. These books, reissued from 1949 to 1955, have their own style, paper boards rather than pasted on plates, jackets, all illustrations. (Bode #68).
CONDITION: Very Good Plus in Very Good jacket; no names or other marks, straight, tight, with sharp corners, appears unread, extrems moderately rubbed to white, fixed endpapers toned; in jacket with creases, spine, corner tips and spine ends rubbed to white, not bad, but quite visible on dark purple, 1/16" creased tear, and tiny chips to extrems; otherwise very crisp and clean.
