New York: Sam'l Gabriel Sons Co.; [1910 - 1920, but based on similar artwork only] #966; heavy illustrated boards with full paintings in setting of each animal, eight interior "pages" and outside covers with a large Landseer Newfoundland puppy in a courtyard and a donkey in a meadow; red cloth spine and grey cloth tape attaching pages (hard to see); oblong 7.25x5" Novelty Small Board book.
Each of these animals fills the oblong page and most of them keep a steady eye on the viewer. Lovely paintings with scenery, houses, woods, pastures filling the background. Seems to be hard to find, so we list it despite condition.
CONDITION: Good; no names or other marks, clean, holding solid, chipped through to card on edges and bumped corners, half inch rip in spine cloth, small chips in corners of cover illustrations. Item #20367
