"Do not as evil children do/Who on the slightest grounds/Will imitate the kangaroo/With wild unmeaning bounds." Bad Child's wonderful verses were published for Knopf's 50th anniversary with a foreword by Frances Clarke Sayers. The matching More Beasts came out a year later with a foreword by Rosemary Livsey.
CONDITION: Fine in Very Good jackets; no names or other marks, both books straight and very clean and tight; both clean jackets have wear at darkened spine ends to 1/4 ", More Beasts with 1/4"chips at spine top, Bad Child's a bit better; both unclipped 3.25. Item #21439
