Trix, Nix, and their Pup, Stixanlix at the Circus.
Cleveland, Ohio, USA: The Goldsmith Publishing Company (1922); tan buckram spine, fully illustrated boards with the two rabbits, dressed in pants and waistcoats and their little rat terrier type dogs with ruff, each page has a black line illustration and brief couplets below, pulp paper; 7x10"; 20 pp. Picture book hardback.
"The comic adventures in verse of two rabbits and a wonderful dog." Lively illustrations in these two stories (the first appeared as a a softcover also). Stixanlix can outdo any trick the rabbits perform at the circus, but when it's time for the movies, he kindly shows the rabbits how to reel the projector. According to World Cat, the artist is Carl Büttner (Carl Beuttner), a pulp artist who later worked for Disney; looks like his work although he would have been about 19 at the time.
