To gain enough thyme (serpolet) to cure his wife, a peasant makes a deal with a giant. The giant may have one of their children, presumably to eat. A long fairytale with cartoonlike illustrations.
CONDITION: Very Good; no names or other marks; 1/4" pull tear and bump near top corner, endpapers unevenly browned, some colour rubbed off on facing page. Très bon. Item #21855
