Short versions of famous nursery tales, Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, with 13 pretty full colour illustrations by HS. (This author often used famous illustrators of which this was not one, but I can't identify him or her).
CONDITION: Very Good; ex-lib, apparently removed from the Free Public Library of Council Bluffs Iowa in 1939, plate, pocket and card, date slip pasted on dark blue front endpapers, two number margin stamps within, no exterior marks, straight and tight; boards toned with light, even soil, extremities rubbed, pages toned but clean with a few bottom margin wrinkles not affecting text or illustrations. Scarce, only copy mentioned online is in the National Library of the Netherlands. Item #21929
