Lively, delicate little illustrations in pastel colours by an artist known for her silhouettes: Eenoogije- tweeoogje-drieoogje; de duiveltjes op de Hemelsche wei, Daar was eens een mannetje dat heette Gijs, Haantje en Hennetje, Drie Zusters met glazen harten, Hansworst, Kettingrijm, De Zeemeermin, Luisje en Vlooitje, Het Vogeltje, De Braadworst en de Muis, Koning Kikkert en de ijzeren Hendrik, Leugenliedje.
CONDITION: Good Plus; neat gift inscription, opens freely but with uncracked hinges, boards a bit sprung, light even soil to cream boards, two short thick scrapes on bottom board and scattered foxing, bottom margin wrinkles throughout and occasional small soil spots, crease on p 28, coloured illustrations very nice, a pleasant copy.
