A cumulative folksong in which the young man works every summer for a new farm animal and finally marries his girl with all the animals decked out in attendance. Detailed paintings with Scheider's realistic amusing animals somewhat like Leslie Brooke's, and unlike his successionist fairy tale illustrations. On the back 14 comical Czech Kulihrášek books listed and 2 Janko Hraskova in Slovak. Not common in jacket.

CONDITION: Very Good Plus in Good Plus jacket; tiny collector initials on eps, rubbed corner tips, otherwise very bright and clean, in toned clean jacket lightly edgeworn all around, rubbed and split on spine with corner chips to 3/8"; prices for different bindings on back (folded paper, bound, in boards thus 22 Kc.).
