Orange and black illustrations illustrate each page of puzzles, rebuses, colouring pages, articles, stories, crafts, cartoons and interesting ads for toys and clothing from this famous old Philadelphia department store. Many signed including a Peter Puzzlemaker's Store Puzzle by George Carlson (who probably also designed the pamphlet cover). A wonderful resource for children's clothes and toys of the 20's. (Mentions Lenci dolls.).
CONDITION:Fair; no names or other marks, clean, narrow chips to front cover covers split and detached at spine fold, thus grade, interior pages very tight, clean and unwrinkled but darkening. Item #22198
