Simple, endearing stories with many coloured illustrations about Andrewshek, his Auntie, the Goose, and the Garden Gate. A beautifully designed book and the Petershams at their best, mentioned in Bader. Still a great read aloud or a first chapter book to read independently.
CONDITION: Very Good without jacket; no names, extrems lightly bumped with top corner and early pages a bit more, holding tight but repaired paper split on back hinge, lightly rubbed covers on title, stray mark on bottom page edge, pages bright, flat, and clean. Nice copy. Item #22541
