Cubby Gets a Bath
Racine, Wisc: Whitman Publishing Company, A Thornton Burgess Story, Cubby Bear Books, 1927, 1929 as to illustrations, all around illustrated paper boards with Farmer Brown's Boy dumping horrified little bear in a tub, rear fixed endpaper lists eight books ending with Woe-Begone, stapled, oblong 5 " x 4 5/8"; np. Picture Book Small.
The sticky little bear was covered in paste, so Farmer Brown's Boy lured him with maple sugar and gave him a bath. One of the slightly smaller first eight with the cover paper wrapped around on top of the endpapers.
CONDITION: Very Good Plus; no names, tight and clean, rubs to extrems. Item #22544
