Little Appleby, blessed with an odd name and many relatives, longs to find a Zebra butterfly for his Cousin Clement's 99th birthday. What follows is a kind of sequential alphabet novel, first envisioned by Anne Parrish and her brother as children. Many pictures full and in text with the letter names cleverly worked in. Newbery Honor.

CONDITION: Very Good in Very Good jacket; no names or other marks, clean, straight, light bumps to extrems, pages clean and unwrinkled, thus very nice, but with mottled area all along 1" of spine margin on back which is not at all evident on the jacket; clean crisp jacket with 1/8" wear to spine ends, 1/4" chips on two corners and half inch closed tear; unclipped 2.75.
