Kenosha, Wisconsin, James & Jonathan Company (1948); red linenette with large illustration of children in a henhouse, two counting eggs and one trying to distract My Fat Hen;. Toploader large softcover.

Molly Brett is best known for her later books about of little "dressed animals" for The Medici Society, but these little children too are graceful and natural.
