One of a series of inexpensive little pamphlets of interest to the 19th c French housewife, this one also intended for use in schools. These are vigorous games to play outside, like our Follow the Leader, Leap Frog, Tug of War, Hide and Seek, ... over 40 of them interspersed with a few anecdotes. Quite an amazing variety. Clear directions, including hints on how to keep the games from becoming violent! Not illustrated, no singing games. Difficult to find as a separate item.
CONDITION: Very Good Plus; no names or marks, does not lie flat, but tight and clean, easy to read with no foxing, paper soft, wraps creased on back, rather carelessly assembled in the first place with uneven page widths. Item #22598
