On each page a scene from the life of one of Rover's friends: horses, chickens, geese, pigs. Richard James Williams (1876 - 1964) illustrated for Nelson and Collins as well as many rag books and children's books for Dean. He became the headmaster of Worcester School of Arts and Crafts as well as the editor of a successful arts and crafts magazine. This book comes from the personal collection of the former owners of Dean's Rag Book Co Ltd, documentation supplied.
CONDITION: Near Fine, no names, corners and pinking sharp, very bright and clean, a curl on one corner which could probably be ironed out. Item #22718
