Daughters of a Major General, Mildred and her sister Ethel, a writer, graduated from college and spent much of their early life travelling around the world with their parents. Mildred contributed to children's annuals, including Blackie's. In later life she and her sister settled in Blackheath, south east London.

CONDITION: Very Good Plus; no names, corners and pinking sharp, very bright and clean, ends of twill binding a bit stretched and scuffed. Item #22719
