Not an educational trip round the world, but cities and places chosen for the artist's own reasons Athens, Borobudur, Carcassonne, Delft, Eddystone Xanadu. Along the way, the grandfather sets down interesting stories for his grandson to read in the future, and records his thoughts on religion, stubbornness, and other things. Some very stereotypical bits.

CONDITION: Very Good in Very Good jacket; no names even in cartouches, loosening, the book looks Fine at first glance with very clean cream boards and paper, including the plain back, but all extrems are rubbed through; in clean cream jacket with small chips to all extremities, toned spine; unclipped 1.00.
