Sticker books, designed to replace the mess of wheat paste, bring back midcentury summer childhoods.In the fairy tale book are Hansel and Gretel, The Three Bears, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Jack and the Beanstalk. Activity book author/illustrators were often anonymous but this group by Martha E. Miller was attributed and well illustrated. As well as these books published from 1939 to the early 40's, Miller illustrated Saalfied reprints of the Bobbsey Twins and readers for Rand McNally and Lyons & Carnahan.Scarce in this condition.
