A realistic story about a very bright 10 year old boy who could not keep himself from domineering others: the accidents this caused, including his little sister's broken arm, the harm it did to relationships with his peers, and his sincere efforts to improve. (Not didactic) At this time, the publisher printed material for the Society of Friends, medical books, some school books, and a few children's stories.

CONDITION: Very Good Plus; no names, tight and clean, spine gilt and covers very bright, pages a bit toned, but rear endpaper glued down with inch tear. Item #22866
