Four Toddles Series Shape Books: Twins, Tommy, Tabitha and Tiny
Springfield, MA: McLoughlin Bros. Inc (all co. 1927), 3/4 girls' Toddles Series #276, not incld C. Preston Peek-a-boo and 1/4 of Toddles Boys' Serie #275, about 3.6 x 9" with shaped heads, bound wth two staples and rounded spine with character on front and on back from behind, so they almost make little dolls. Novelty shape book.
Twins, Tommy, Tabitha and Tiny! Absolutely not collectible, and not the complete series, but nicely taken care of and charming to have around as decor.
CONDITION: All very clean, well bound, and straight with intact spines and clean flat pages, with listed flaws, but all pages in each book have been carefully coloured with pencil by an adult, well chosen colours sequenced from page to page, no stray marks aside from line in gutter. Toddles Twins 1/4" chip on spine foot; Tiny Toddles, 1/4" chip on spine foot and one inch moisture mark throughout, moisture wrinkles on top board interior not visible on exterior, Tabitha Toddles tiny chips to spine ends, small chip and paper lifted lower front corner, moisture spots on head show through on bottom board, Thomas Toddles nice spine (he doesn't have a cutout) owner name, large pale moisture spot bottom corner runs throughtout pages, not boards.
